You want an Assist Trophy montage? It's above. You want some sticker gameplay? Oh, we've got that. It's after the jump. You want a trophy collection montage? Wait, let us see if it's in stock. Yes, it totally is. Wait, you want Smash Ball gameplay? Well, this is our last one, let us check with our manager. ... OK, he said that it's yours, but he doesn't want to be held liable if your face melts off, Raiders-style. Check out the whole collection after the jump.

No, i think it's a guy saying he's gonna beat on his friends. Which is fair enough, but there's not much to be proud of in beating people who don't hold the same fanatacism.

the internet has become a blessing and a curse. on one hand you get to know all the insider details as they get leaked onto the internet. but then you also have no surprises. half the fun of the other brawls was the all the unlockables and secret characters. but every other day i see a video posted showing new exclusive characters/levels and specials.
all iam saying is that a little mystery is good sometimes.

I have a feeling you're not even seeing the tip of the iceberg here. They're not going to reveal everything until at least Jan 31st. There's going to be so much more... Not that I have proof or anything, it's all just speculation, but if Sonic and Olimar are the last of the new surprise character, I'll be surprised.

i agree with you 100% but do you imagine the shock and amazement of picking up ssb and seeing sonic.... kid icarus..... SNAKE? can you imagine when your game loads and your looking at the character selection screen and you see those characters, and the amount of characters? i agree its just the tip but it could have been a bigger SHOCK when the first people pick it up and start spreading the word. i was kinda Hoping for PAC MAN. or MRS. PAC MAN. maybe next gen. lol

SSBB always felt wayyyyy to chaotic for me. It's like a million things happening on the screen at once. Maybe I'm alone on this statement here but this title is just another button masher.
Fortunately, I will not be spending a dime of my money on any Nintendo Wii software at a $55 price point. I do not believe Wii titles are worth that much. $30-$40 at the most! The majority of their softwares are refurbish PS2, Cube and DS stuff. Zack & Wiki $30, Resident Evil 4 $30 now thats more like it.
I'm sure the majority of you guys are going to fade this comment out but I'm entitled to my opinion.

$49.99 with tax in NYC it's $55. Either way, that's way to expensive for a Wii game. Come on now! $55 for a collection of mini party games? I find something wrong with that.

$54.20 to be exact! Like I said, it's still way to expensive.

So, in your opinion, $50 is too much to spend on Brawl, even though Lair and Sonic 2006 came out at $60?
Are you serious?

We all know Lair was a bad. It's not worth the money! It's no big shocker. What's your point?
Are you trying to tell me that 360 and PS3 games are only $10 better then the Wii? LMFAO!!!
Yeah, the Wii is selling millions of systems right? So why aren't their AAA softwares flying off the shelves? If you consider how many Wiis that are out in the market to how much software that's being sold... It's just a Wii sport machine.
SSBB is not going to be that different from the Game Cube ver you know. How do you justify pay $55 for it or any Wii title?

@Mike
SSBB not to much different than Super Smash Bro Melee?? Are you retarded?? Online play, brand new characters, robust single player, map creator, rpg elements, demos, multiple control schemes, the ability to play your own music, and updated graphics...what else do you need? Its the perfect game hands down and well worth $55. Its not a mini-game and for your statement on AAA titles not selling well, Super Mario Galaxy has sold over 5 million copies in a few months.

I for one will be playing this far more than any of the PS3 games I buy this year, including Rock Band. And that's no knock against my PS3 because I love it, but if you can't get into SSBB you should probably just put down the controller permanently. Not to mention, Snake's in there for anyone who hates Nintendo's characters and just wants to destroy them (I'm a frequent Mario player myself).
Also, not that the money argument is a big deal, but if you order it from somewhere like Amazon, there is no tax and you get free shipping. It would take longer to get it, but it saves the extra $5.

That's great an all.
The comment I wrote wasn't done to offend people. I know there are tons of SSBB fans out there and I actually play the game myself on the Cube. It's just my opinion. I'm not trying to tell you guys don't go spend your $55 on SSBB. knock yourselves out!
I also notice people are using the PS3, Lair as a scape goat to justify the $55 price point of Wii software. My whole was that the Wii software prices are to high. It doesn't have anything to do with a bad title like Lair. This is not a PS3 conversation...everyone wants to use the PS3 to make themselves feel good. The PS3 is Sony's problem, not mine.

I don't think the system being developed on has anything to do with the warrant price of the game. Rather, the price should be determined by the amount of game content you're getting, and how much work the developers put into it.
Clearly, a lot of work has been put into Brawl, with enough spit-shine that it looks more polished than a fine piece of bronze/silver/gold/etc. And there's FAR more content in it than there was in Melee.
Why does it being on Wii have to do with it being worth $50 or not? Nothing. It has to do with the game itself. For example, Cooking Mama: Cook Off (Wii) is not worth $50, nor is Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree. Not to say they're bad games (haven't played them), but at the same time, I can't say the same amount of work and content was put into them as Smash Bros.
Just because Brawl isn't full of "OMG TEH HD GRAFIX" doesn't mean it should be a budget title.

Purchase games over the Internet.
Some retailers don't even charge shipping and sell the game at a reduced price.
No tax, no shipping, discounted price. Don't even need gas money to get to the store.
Hey, my copy of Brawl cost me $41. I could've made it even cheaper if I waited for a $5 coupon code, but I got No More Heroes and Trauma Center 2 with $5 codes instead, so it's all good.

Saw that, too. Agent J's a sticker as well.
Interesting, as this is a video of the Japanese version, yet EBA was not released in Japan. However, the Agents are hidden characters in Ouendan 2.
