I heard your praise for this game on the podcast. You recommended another game as well new-something. Any chance I could get a spelling on that one?

Sweet! Tower of Goo is a fun game, that's awesome that they've come up with new types of gameplay for it.

wow actually looks pretty good.

I wish more devs capitalized on how the Wii pointer can substitute a mouse.

Now let's see some awesome RTS games on Wii!

Exactly... for me, the best feature of the Wii is the pointer (a lot better than motion controls).

Developers need to start using more the pointer feature... its great for RTS, strategy RPG's, FPS and every type game that use the mouse as the primary input.

I really loved tower of goo, even the simple soundtrack. This game has been on my radar for a while.

Let's hope it really shines in the polishing. It's good to have a breath of fresh air

[ ] Yet another (insert Nintendo franchise I played when I was six)
[x] Looks cool

Wow. I might actually want to play a Wii game. Good work securing this, Nintendo. I like my gaming on consoles instead of PCs, but I also like my in-game profanity. Make it happen and you probably have another sale on your hands.

Seems like it could be fun, especially if there's a puzzle element to it.

I've heard a lot about this game, but haven't actually seen anything. I mean even this video doesn't really give you any idea how the game actually plays.

More 2D for the current generation, that's always a plus

But of course WiiWare can support this sort of thing, i don't know much about their SDK's, or if devs have that sort of access, but I know VC games have been updated in the past (mostly patches, though, like the one to slow down the framerate of StarFox 64 so that it was synched with the audio again)

I remember playing a game like this a year or two ago. It looked just like this, but your only objective was to build the highest tower possible without tipping over.

Tower of goo rocked. It was about the only (video) game my girlfriend ever got interested in as well.

I love the presentation... almost tim burton... heck, the music reminds me of the orignal batman...

I will pay 501 Wii Points for this!

You can only buy it in packs of 1000, anyway :( I was pretty upset about this when I wanted a 1200 point title.
