Buy your loved one a blue and black Lite

For those of you who expressed an interest in that new, yummy cobalt blue and black DS, Buy.com has just opened preorders for the handheld. Perhaps more intriguingly, it also reckons that the console will ship in North America on February 14th, a.k.a Valentine's Day, a.k.a the day when roughly half the population is suckered into buying tat for the most contrived of all non-holidays, while the other half feels depressed at the thought of being alone.

If you don't have any loved ones, then, uh, hey, love's over-rated anyway, and you've always got DS Fanboy. No? Not helping?

I think im going to put my black lite aside and go after this one!!......i like the looks of it.......and im Getting a wii plus brawl with tax return!!!!!!.....Rumor has it nintendo of america wants wiis to be readily available before easter!!!....

Scott kindly gave us the heads-up on Buy.com opening preorders and revealing the Feb 14th date.

AH!.....well i think ive seen a thanks like twice today at least and thought maybe it was hidden message to the treasure trove of ninja gaiden games

In this strange ad I got from Walmart in the mail today, it said it would be available Feb. 10.

I've also seen the Feb 10th date floating around on rumor sites, but the Buy.com site was the only place I could find taking orders. I'm going to dig around and see if I can find anything from Wal-Mart.
