Has the newest version removed or done anything about the ridiculous "license"?

Agree. I can't hear about GlovePIE without remembering this thing that sounds like the sort of rant you'd expect out of a Ron Paul supporter. Ick.

That said, the columns have been great. I got a Bluetooth dongle explicitly to play with Wiimote support, and as soon as I get my computer desk set up (I'm stuck somewhere that makes setting up the sensor bar... tricky) I'm going to tinker with some of this stuff.

My only complaint about this week: no pointer-based aiming in your Portal script? I guess you needn't bother; there's already a Half-Life 2 Wiimote mod, IIRC, so I'm sure that would get the job done.

As far as I can tell, there has been no revision to the EULA.

(PS, it's really not an 'any' key, in case anyone cared, which they don't)

why would you play portal with a sixaxis using glove pie if you could just play the orange box on a ps3 better?

Portability - The video is of my laptop screen, and I can take it to more places and play than I could my PS3.

Scalability - My computer can play the game with settings that the PS3 might choke on.

ummm, did you notice that HL2 and portal support joysticks, it may feel unnatural because the left and right are reveresed, but that way you dont have to script a mouse aiming section, only a analouge movement part.

Yeah, but scripting for it gives you full control of the mouse pointer, in and out of the game. This script can be easily modified to support many FPS games, so long as they use DirectInput for mousing.
