Even if MS deny it, it seems like a case of GoW PC to me. It would totally make sense, and even if it doesn't release for 6months, it will come.

lets hope this is true. I really see promise in halo wars, especially if there is a map editor. That way we can actually remake halo 1-3 if we want. Also, custom maps keep rts games alive.

If this is true, no way in hell is anyone ever going to win on the 360 version. the mouse and keyboard is just supirior to the gamepad for RTS and they already stated that halo wars will not utalize the chatpad so there go those extra hotkeys and shortcut possibilities.

However releasing this for the pc might be a mistake fincancially. It will then become competition per say for starcraft 2, and theres no way in hell it can compete.

Chances are Halo Wars will be out before Starcraft 2, even if it is several months after the 360 version this winter.

It seems like a the major thing they need to push their Games for Windows Live initiative. Clearly it didn't work with Shadowrun.

I dont know why it got such bad reviews. It was the best rc racing game ever. and was quite challenging too 100% the game (Which would be great for todays achievements nowadays). If I recall correctly, the game had a track editor too.

I'd rather they left out cross plat play but i do like being able to use maps from the pc editor on the 360.

oh hell yes. Cross Platform would just make it nicer but ever since i saw the original teaser for halo wars i prayed it would come out for PC.

For as good as RTS games have gotten on the console the PC is still their home. At least until they make them for consoles with keyboard/mouse support.

I say make it cross compatible, but give the users an option to only let the game connect to people with the same system (PC or Xbox) if desired (probably most likely in ranked matches)

I wouldn't be surprised, the 360 is a new platform for Ensemble, the majority of their games all go back to PC. Not to mention they were good at what they do.

Cross platform multiplayer... ha! Although it looks like the controller controls for RTS games are getting better... especially what I saw for Halo Wars, keyboards and mice were built for RTS games. I would like this game better on PC unless they are only releasing it for vista. ;)

from the halo wars demo video that came out the controls using the gamepad are incredibly easy to use and granted a keyboard/mouse combo is always faster with an RTS i think that 360 users could easily keep up after getting used to the control scheme.

Why don't they just add support for the mouse? PS3 has it.

HALO WARS should definately be made for PC for many reasons.

One of the highest reasons for myself?

The biggest reason -I- think it should be for PC is because, many people, like myself, would not want to go buy a $300-400 product and then buy Halo Wars for another 20-50. Even then, you would STILL have to pay for Xbox Live every month, and that is what? My friends say its about 29.99 a month?

Yea i wouldnt pay that much, but look how many more people have a PC than an Xbox 360. Honestly, the financial purpose wouldnt be too bad, because the day the Halo Wars for PC meets stores in my area.. or around the country... it will be sold out in a few hours.

So who's with me?
Spread the word.
