Though obviously lacking in details regarding the perpetually in-development Duke Nukem Forever, we can't say we're eagerly awaiting every drop of information (this isn't Brawl, after all). Still, we'll give props to Down in Front, who managed to corner the game's art director, Tramell "T-Ray" Isaac, for an interview.
What have we learned? Nothing of great consequence. The unsurprisingly underwhelming teaser trailer was all captured from the in-game engine using Fraps, and the game's storyline takes place in the near future, in Las Vegas. Information regarding release dates, or even general assurances that development in moving along nicely, are notably absent. Like we're surprised.

I don't know. I think he looks more like Ron Pearlman than Bruce Willis.

Wasn't it rumored or confirmed that Bruce Willis was going to play Duke Nukem when Duke Nukem was popular?

Man DNF is neverending development time is such an internet meme - an cultural institution, if you will, that the license-holder has to drop meaningless news of continuing development just to keep cultural balance intact. I think they do this for fun only - a quick and dirty video here, a bit of bullnews there.
They are running the joke.

I knew our economy was slowing down, but art director for a game that doesn't exist? I know a McDonald's that's hiring...

At first they'd promise you the best burger you've ever eaten. By the end, they'd merely promise you a burger. It might be good, it might not--they just want to finish the friggin' burger.

True. 3d Realms would be in limbo in making a burge they would probably use a method of making burgers from one burger joint, but then change it to another.

Duke Nuken is '90s
If it does come out, it will sell to parents of children under the age classification regulation, and people buying it out of pure respect for an old classic with a ridiculous developement period.

I doubt that the final result would EVER be able to justify that kind of development time.
It'd have to be Chuck-Norris status.
