Halo 3 Big Team Battle goes ranked

I just got back from playing it, and I have to say, Ranked BTB sucks! Everyone is so low a ranks that matchmaking doesn't work. I saw Recruits being matched with Generals! The biggest problem is that it isn't weighted towards Big Team Slayer. I played 5 games, and only one was Big Team Slayer, the rest were all either Multi-Flag or Single-Flag. Bungie should just make a Big Team Slayer hopper.

Ranked Rocket Race would've been better.

i just played it and liked it, it will improve over time and for the person who commented on top of me, this is only happening because everyone is going in with a rank of one and H3 true skill doesnt look at generals and recruits. In a week it will balence out but right now has a highest lvl of 10. Also i played 5 games and 3 of them were slayer one was flag and one territories.

CHICKA CHICKA YEAH! THIS WAS MY BEST LEVEL WHEN IT WAS RANKED IN HALO 2. I may finally put Halo 3 back in my 360 for the first time since i got COD4 on christmas.

BTB is one of my favourite gametypes for just chilling out and shooting shit. If I want tactical stuf I have team hardcore but BTB is just awesome. Especially since it means more sandtrap.

Give me SWAT at least social and I'll start playing Halo3 again.

what about people with guests (AKA real like friends), BTB was the best playlist with groups of guests but now it'll be taken over by rank whores

its about fing time.I cant believe it took so long for this to happen. Im dissapointed to hear it focuses on team slayer the most however. Team slayer is the only downfall of BTB. I play it so often there in unranked and I cant stand it. Ill get a +35 ratio (hey im playing noobs lol) and my team will still lose by 25 points. the reason I hate slayer is no matter how well you preform, your chances of a loss are still very high because you can get just that one retard who gets a -15 ratio and easily single handedly costs you the game.

Objective is alot better. If Im play a ctf match, that one retard who keeps dying does not drastically effect the outcome of the match much. If Im good enough, I can defend that flag without his help.

Maybe this will keep people from quitting early all the time. In one game I was the only left & I refused to quit, so it was me vs. 8 and I was kicking ass!

If I still gotta push to talk in BTB ranked then my Halo 3 will stay dusty on the shelf for many many months to come.

Good, I'm tired of getting MVP after MVP in BTB games and getting nothing to reward for it.
