Old Spice Experience Challenge returns ... sort of

We're sure you all have fond memories of the Old Spice Experience Challenge, which tasked gamers with earning enough gamerscore points to qualify for Fusion Frenzy 2, which was comparable to sprinting to the top of a steep hill to pick up your complimentary knife wound. Now, the challenge has returned, and while you're still getting prizes for points, it's with a very different structure.

This time, you're not just competing with yourself, you're competing with your friends, and the more of them you can get in on a competition, the better prizes will be up for grabs. You'll fight against all of them for a set period of time and the top earner gets the goods, which range from a $20 Best Buy gift card to an Xbox 360 HD DVD Player. Like last time though, prizes are limited, so you'll probably want to get your friends together soon if you want a showdown for the best swag.

Okay, maybe the format war isn't quite over yet, but given the recent developments this seems an odd inclusion in the prizes...

Maybe the idea is to overburden you with more of a failing format you if you come second ^^

They will probably be offering mini disc and betamax players as prizes in future competitions :)

Ooohhh, Xbox 360 HD-DVD (I am so glad I won't have to say that much longer) player. Where's the BetaMax? How about Laaazer Disc?

I posilutly, absativly, have no ideas regarding the meanification of your statement to my persons. I tried to searchificate for the meanitudinal definational defintion of your statement on google, but as the texans say "Foolisize me once, shamificational discrace on me and my person, Follisize me twice, well, i cannot get Follisized any more due to the amount of shamifcational discarce i recived in the intial Follisization."

Incidentilitudginol, only 23%itude of the above passificates the spelling and/or grammar checkification machine's checkification of the clarification of spelling and/or grammer...

Wow. Way to post news 6 weeks late. These challenges have been going for almost 2 months now.

Since it is the Old Spice challenge, you'd think they'd send out complimentary sticks of deodorant to help quell the stench of the un-bathed masses.

HA! When you sign-up and invite your friends, it even tells you if the guys you're including have already played Avatar! Nice thinking 360Voice! I'm gettin' 10 of my friends together to go after that $100 best buy gift card - wanna have some "cash" ready for March & April for SSB and GTA IV.

This is ancient. The Old Spice started in December and is ending pretty soon and Joystiq just tells users about it.
