Nedry: How am I supposed to transport them?

Dodgson: The bottom screws open, it's cooled and compartmentalized inside. They can even check it if
they want. Press the top.

Silicon Knights do have a coop. They do a coop mainly with Brock students I think. Maybe Waterloo also. How do I know? I got a personal tour of the studio in late November. Got to see the game and Too Human and ask about the industry. Great experience. The game looked amazing. They are already the largest game developer in Ontario with around 160 employees.

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. I'm not all that happy that ANY industry here can get propped up by government money, but it's been going on, it is going on, and it always will go on. With any luck, fifty years down the road, we'll have a higher percentage of high-tech jobs that are subsidized, as opposed to the bloody automotive industry, which just keeps bleeding our country dry due to high export costs.

With the war in the 'States, our economies have come closer and closer to being at parity, and maintaining our status as an exporting country simply isn't realistic anymore. It's nice to see at least one region smarting up to this and seeing the need for high-tech jobs.

Adding people to a late project makes the project even more late. Do you think they will ignore the most basic of all IT project management rules ? I doubt it. They will put those people onto new projects.
