I have a DS, and I contemplated getting a R4 but I never ended up getting it. Add that to the 10% kthxbai.

I never even thought about getting one. So I guess I am in the minority.

I like the last line that they sneaked in the article:

"A Nintendo spokesman said, “We are monitoring the situation closely.”"

I have this strange feeling that if Nintendo had proof that 90% of American DS owners were playing pirated games, then they would probably be doing a little bit more than "monitoring the situation..."

Haha, singapore hits the news in a negative way again. The majority of stuff reported in The Straits Times cannot be trusted, especially where numbers are concerned. The paper is a wing of the government propaganda machine. Right now, they need to eliminate videogame piracy to attract foreign companies to develop the singaporean games industry.

Its all about money here, nothing to see - move along.

Department of Irony: This DS owner had no idea such things existed before reading this article. This DS owner does now...

I knew flash carts or whatever they are exist, but the reason I'd buy one would be for awesome homebrew applications such as the comic book reader and what-not. Plus I'd like to make some homebrew games myself and see how I do.

lol... I didn't know this thing existed until I read it on VE a few days ago..
I ordered it immediately, and resold all my games for about $100~.. the CycloDS+2gb (76~)

Good looks for publicizing about DS piracy, I assume more people know, and will do it now..

If that figure were true, hell I'd jump on the ballot Monday and campaign on the platform of making piracy legal, cause hell, everybody does it!

I totally thought this was another one of those pirates v. ninjas surveys. Either way it's a lie, there are many more ninjas. They are just hidden.
