Rainbow Six Vegas 2 set for a March 21st release

This morning, Ubisoft went all-in and made the announcement that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is set to release on March 21st. Oh joy! We also learn, via that ever so famous GoW2 issue of GamePro, that RSV2 will feature a bunch of new and exciting additions including the ability to sprint, destructible cover, faster firing rate for all weapons, online co-op and an upgraded reward system that we learned about last month. RSV2 has the potential to be great, dare we say rival other similar war games in the FPS arena and is definitely something we're going to be watching for come March. It just seems solid.

sounds very nice. pound for pound, the first vegas was a much better game than COD4. The only thing cod4 had was graphics and a better leveling system. If RV2 can even approach those, the superiority of evertyhing else in the game will make it a must buy for me.

I agree with everything you said there, although CoD4 did have a more cinematic feel to the story I liked. Problem now I'm incredibly bored of CoD4 and need to find a game for the next month and a half -.-

I actually did not really like the first vegas, and I couldn't believe how bad the graphics were online. I'll probably end up giving this one a try though.

Wait. March 21st? A Friday? Since when?

Yeah, a Friday release sounds strange. Given the source, perhaps this is the Euro release date? For what it's worth EB and Gamestop are still showing a 3/18 release date.

How did that awful Advanced Warfighter 2 joke go? GRAW 1.5? Yeah, so enjoy Vegas 1.5.

I hate to say this but I tend to agree with you......

Gonna have to pick this up, the first I still think is the best real military style shooter out and this one looks to be a lot better than the first. :)

w00t, w00t! I can't wait for this one! I'll have to pick up two though, one for the chica. Co-op is the bizzle and the shizzle (It's good).

I'm also stoked for Army of Two, but that's another post.

Dont get too excited.... I've heard baaaad things abt Army of Two (I was also very excited for the past 9 mos or so since I heard abt A of 2)

Perhaps, perhaps. Though, COD4 is still on the top of my play list. Maybe by the time this comes out I will be in need of something new.

Is it supposed to have more save progress points?

The only thing left to do now is wait for the delay announcement.
