Firstly, late to the party aren't we.

Secondly, I don't know how they got that figure. I use the official Ni-Mh pack, and 30hours is good. I am not complaining, but 56hours from the standard Alkaline batteries they claimed to use sounds like bull-crap. I know that Alkaline can last longer than rechargables in certain drains, but the controller should be quite high drain.

Is this the new blogger? Xav de Matos? Introductions?

Good one, you evoked the word "DICK" when I saw the RROD link. Nice touch. :)

You would think that the SIXAXIS would take less power having no rumble build in. Go Figure.

I definitely don't get 56 hours from my batteries, but then again I'm using Rayovacs lol.

I have the Chatpad in pretty often too, I'm sure that adds to it significantly. Even with that, they last long enough that I can't complain.

I've often marveled at how long the rechargeable packs last.... seems like weeks. And they charge very quickly.... nice.
