I know that this has long been the ultimate vaporware for gamers, but is Duke Nukem still relevant?

I haven't played a Duke game. I know they are regarded as being very good, but that was in a time when those type of games didn't exist. The point raised, in todays market with many similar, and exceptional games, is this possible game worthy of such adoration.

Also since the update, are either game confirmed?

The thing about old school games (to me at least) like Duke 3D is that it brings back a lot of memories when I used to play them all the time with my buddies online. I played Duke 3D and Doom 1 all the time when I was in high school. They might not be able to compete with the newer games in graphics, physics or AI but it's a blast running through a favorite level that you haven't played in 10-15 years.

Too little too late, I lost interest years ago. Duke Nukem is NOT RELEVANT!!! there has been too many great titles that makes Duke a fond memory from the early age of FPS and nothing more.

I think the dragging out of this project has meant that all excitement inthe game is lost, rather than suddenly being excited "Oh my, a new Duke Nukem after all these years!", it's more "Oh really... they're finally finishing it huh?"

I really would love to know what 3D Realms gets upto between the years.

Looks like this "Dallas Business Journal" really dropped the ball on this one. Didn't really get anything right.

Way to go DBJ!
