Before the latest issue of Famitsu (via IGN), we knew Ryu and Ken were back for the "fourth" (and we use that term lightly) Street Fighter title. Now we have a confirmation that Chun-Li, Blanka, E. Honda, Zangief, Dhalsim and Guile are all returning. Street Fighter IV is now officially a 17-year reunion for the SFII lineup. Be careful, we suspect Zangief might try to spike the punch.
The magazine also provided an illustration for how the new Saving Attack system will work: Ryu blocks Ken's fireball and immediately counters, causing Ken to fall down. Street Fighter IV is expected to be playable at the Japanese Amusement Expo on February 15.

Who saw this coming. Capcom tried to introduce a new cast with 3rd strike and everyone complained. So it makes sense for the 4th one to have the old school players back. I think everyone will feel more familiar with it. I personally hope tho that some of the characters like Alex for example make it to the 4th game.

I'm honestly less and less interested in this game the more I hear about it.

For those who don't understand the love for CAMMY aforementioned, it's because it's not often British chicks get such a visually appealing treatment(at least, not at the level this 'Delta Red' has), especially in videogames.
Though it'd be hilarious to see one with teeth resembling "the big book of British Smiles".

I actually like the movie....it could have been better but compared to the trash that comes out today I think they tried to stay pretty true to most of the characters.
Besides Jean Claude Van Daam was a perfect casting as Guile.

SFIV = SFII.5
Not that I'm really complaining. I just hope there are more newcomers (besides Crimson Viper) to mix in.

Sorry but I really liked the SF3 cast, although some characters were just clear replacements for older ones.

Street fighter EX 4 anyone? I mean, this game seems more and more like a sequel to EX than SF.

Hence the reason why hype has died down exponentially since the initial trailer. I just don't like the "chunky" look of the characters... and the visuals don't seem as sharp as VIRTUA FIGHTER or even TEKKEN.
...but hey, at least SF4 doesn't feature the metrosexual-designs of FALCOON's alternate artwork of these recent KOF characters. Seriously, unless you're Vince McMahon, there's no reason to throw some lolita girl into a fight with someone the size of Kimbo or Bob Sapp.

I wonder if Sakura will be in the game. If so, this will be her first appearance in a non spinoff SF game.

I echo the chant for Cammy! I hated how the original SFII had only Chun-Li as 'the strongest woman in the world'... when she's the only one.
