It may be closer to his vision, but I still find it ridiculous.

I watched the comparison. How does that blood add to the game? It sprays all over, rather excessively -- I simply don't see how that adds to it.

I didn't enjoy the censored version either, but I think I'd be more up to playing it over the bloody one, simply because the blood looks goofy to me.

I have no kids or anything, and I'm not morally against the game -- it just looks goofy to me.

Well then, the point of the game was just totally lost on you. Everything in the freaking game is over the top. That's kind of the point of the whole thing.

You know I like how people are pissed that this game uses gallons of blood as a form of "style" and yet no one is complaining that one of the Oscar Nominated movies "Sweeney Todd" does the same exact thing.

Maybe if Suda51 told everyone that the people were bleeding "oil" like how Konami has never gotten any critism with gallons upon gallons of red "oil" in Nanobreaker for the PS2, maybe no one would care... cause it's oil. I hate how this game is targeted and yet Nanobreaker never has gotten any complaints because the instruction booklet says it's "oil" when everyone and their brother knows it bullshit.

Let's just hope that the US version lives up to his vision sales-wise as well!

Oh yay. I've been keeping an eye on this game, and was pleasantly surprised when it got pretty favorable reviews. Picked it up today and am excited to pop in something that isn't minigames!

Quirky games that get rated somewhere between 6-8 on the scale often end up being some of my favorites.

I just got the game yesterday, and all I can say is: amazing.

I like to think that I "get" what he was trying to do, but even if I don't I can still recognize that it is a really fun game.

Wish I had gotten it sooner!
