Today in Joystiq: February 6, 2008
While you might immediately think the above picture is somehow Christmas-related, we see it as a romantic date between Portal's most eligible bachelor (he's the strong, silent type who never threatens to stab) and a dressed-for-love Chocobo. Perhaps they'll be each other's Valentines next week. Check out the highlights for today:

DAMN IT!! Thanks for reminding me that I didn't get the big companion cube from the valve store. I could of made hundreds of dollars! I got the dice ones though and they're hanging from my rearview.
Saria the Cat @ Feb 7th 2008 12:17AM
I think it's the pine and the Chocobo santa outfit that give it away.
Speaking of the holiday this picture is trying to pass off as, I sure hope there is some kind of Valentine's Day post. Maybe a showing off of romantic video game themed gifts? Or maybe a post before Valentine's that reminds all the male gamers reading Joystiq to get up off their butts and either A) get some flowers for their lover, B) appropriate a lover, or C) join in on Game Night.
Fernando Rocker @ Feb 7th 2008 12:17AM
Hi... do you have Live or MSN?
Saria the Cat @ Feb 7th 2008 3:43AM
Sorry, this lover has already been appropriated. :) In fact, my Live account is in my boyfriend's name.
ThornedVenom @ Feb 7th 2008 1:17AM
Don't put the Cube so near to the candles!
It reminds him of bad memories, like the incinerator.
AnonyMack @ Feb 7th 2008 1:45AM
It's christmas time in Hollis, Queens. Mom's cookin' chicken and collard greens!
Ebola @ Feb 7th 2008 3:51AM
Geez! Back off Fernando, I'm sure she wouldn't date a troll like you. Go meet women off the net.
ThornedVenom @ Feb 7th 2008 4:26AM
He's married, wacko.
Fernando Rocker @ Feb 7th 2008 11:03AM
It was a joke Ebola. I'm married.
Saria the Cat @ Feb 7th 2008 8:40PM
Oh, I'm glad it was a joke! I thought it would be embarrassing for someone to ask someone out in a Joystiq comment for everyone to see... :P
Ebola @ Feb 7th 2008 1:16PM
I'm a wacko? YOU know he's married, some guy you have never met, on the internet no less.
A Joke? Rrrrriiiiiiiiiiight..
