In his first television appearance since his controversial firing, Jeff Gerstmann will appear at 8 p.m. tonight on G4's recently redesigned news show X-Play. According to a G4 press notice, Gerstmann will be discussing innovation (or the lack thereof) in Japanese gaming and will also "field questions regarding his previous position with Gamespot, as well as his current and future endeavors."For those who've missed Gerstmann's calming presence on On The Spot, this will provide a great opportunity to see the big guy back in action. For everyone else, er ... there's another story right below this one!

Now that's the entire list of shows that they play.
Lately the quality of The Hotspot just isn't the same anymore, even to the point where they are either behind the times, or just plain wrong.
This is even more apparant in their video show On The Spot, the people demonstrating just don't know the things they should know when doing a demo of a game. If you're gonna have a game on your show, you had better know it inside out.
Regardless of the nerd outrage over the firing, there's a reason people don't go to Gamespot anymore, the quality is way down, across the board. They are woefully late with their reviews for one.
Brain drain, yeh...

The Screen Savers is now Attack of the CRAP. And they have nothing useful to talk about cause they are all stupid, but attractive kids. The only shows on G4 I enjoyed occasionally was X-Play for the funny factor of Adam. Star Trek: TNG because Patrick Stewart is awesome. And Sasuke.

When you use a password then it is posted directly. If you dont use the pass then you at least have the option of not using the email verification and then the comment never posts.

The guy frickin' rated games badly for being "More of the same".. unless it was "More of the same" multiplayer shootin'. Then that was okay!
This, apparently, is PERFECTLY FINE to some people.
I'd never even HEARD of this guy until he got fired!
Me too!

sorry..... you just set it up to nice.
If Gerstmann was just a jackass to his employers, then that's a different story.

Oakley sunglasses make you look like a f-in duche. Especially when worn by someone ugly with a collared shirt.
I warned you geeks. They are a form of contraception. Only occasion to wear those ugly things is if you bike like Lance F'in Armstrong.
The more you know... (musically: wongwong wong wooong)
