Continuing to bridge the gap between gamers and those who create the games they play, the NAMCO dev team who is responsible for Culdcept SAGA invites you to some Xbox Live Game With Developers funnery. If you're up to it, log onto Xbox Live February 15th from 9:00PM - midnight eastern, shoot a friend request to one of the developers and be prepared to bring the pain. Cards will fly, hearts will be broken and someone will break down in tears ... Culdcept SAGA is not for the faint of heart.

I tried the demo on XBLM. This sounds like a cool idea, to beat the Devs... but too bad the game SUCKS. Seriously, it should be an XBLA game for 800points at BEST. A full priced game? No way in hell.

Soooo.... then don't buy it.
And it's not full priced. It's $40.

I hope this makes it to european shores. Board game/TCG crossover? I liked the demo very much, although the "battle animations" were a little on the weak side (especially compared to Eye Of Judgement's).
Does anyone know if it's region-free?

Despite previously stating $40 was too much a recent raise coupled with having nothing to play sent me off to pick it up.
I have no previous experience with the PS versions of the game and the closest I ever got to playing a card game like that was about 15 years ago taking a friends younger brothers Magic deck and throwing them at him one at a time while shouting "NEEEERD!"
I like it. It's a nice change from the FPS world and though their voices may be higher pitched and their jokes corny I have to admit that the "nerds" I've played with over Live so far have been infinitely more well mannered and behaved than the psychotic prepubescent jerk-offs I've run into playing COD and Halo.
