Rumor: Peggle taps Nintendo DS vein [update]

Vechey says Peggle has now outsold Bejeweled with over ten million downloads. He explains that the game's sales weren't doing well on many casual portals when it first released, but that PopCap kept promoting it on its website and the designer drug took off. We're just waiting for the day a PA (Peggle Anonymous) group pops up on our local community center's bulletin board.
Update: File this away as rumor for now. PopCap has issued a statement denying Peggle has been green lighted for DS. More here.

Have you guys no shame?! It's hard enough for recovering addicts - everywhere we go it's, "Hey man, you want a little Peggle?"
But now on my DS?! I've got no chance of ever being clean again!!

I've never bought a PopCap game in my life except for Peggle (Thanks to it being included in Orange Box preorders). And if it has different levels, I'll be there on the DS as well.

I bought it for my iPod having played it on Mac (regular demo) and PC (Peggle Extreme - NVidia/Steam freebie). I think I'll grab the 360 version for the HD and DLC.

Peggle really IS addictive as hell.
Of course, I could quit anytime I want.

I tried Peggle for the first time yesterday... It's incredible how quickly I was hooked.

I played a Peggle demo once on PC.
I'll never EVER underestimate games, judging from their presentation, EVER again. O_O
If this came out on DS, HELL YEAH! (I wonder if there'd be any way to create a fun multiplayer Peggle experience)
