This past month has seen the addition of a number of useful features to Sony's underdog handheld, such as its Skype integration and the soon to be imported GPS functionality. However, a story from a Michigan middle school recently broke the news of a heretofore unannounced ability of the PSP -- instantaneous superheating, with possible leg disfigurement.
Apparently, a student had the system turned off and in his pocket in the middle of band practice when, all of a sudden, it melted through his jean pocket, sending him to the hospital with second-degree burns on his leg. Sony has yet to comment on the incident, though their website reminds PSP owners that using third-party batteries and charging equipment is likely to cause such an accident -- as will playing the trombone within a 5 foot radius of the system, apparently.
In a beautiful showing of coincidence, the game occupying the system at the time of the meltdown supposedly was, you guessed it, Burnout Dominator.

I should say the same for someone who thinks that XP or Vista is better than OSX in any form.
Thats why I have a Mac. Not because I think it will get me laid... LOL

At least I don't have XP and Vista owners spending every waking moment of their day how awesome their computer is, and that a computer with a $35 bargain-basement video chip is just magically better at graphics than my $100 budget PC card (which is always replaceable). Every time I tell one of those Apple aristocrats my XP system boots up in 18 seconds with Apache/MySQL installed, hasn't had a BSOD in two years, and hasn't had a virus in... oh, FOREVER... they don't believe me. Tell you what... I'll return the favor. I refuse to believe your computer never crashes! I should know, because I own a Mac, too.
UNIX underpinnings or not, the Mac still uses a proprietary graphics server and desktop manager, and it most definitely has crashing problems, boatloads of bugs, and a TON of responsiveness flaws. The stability of the OS core is irrelevant if the servers running ON the core are flawed.
I simply hate the little fruit-branded box. Every time I eject a DVD, it looks like it's spitting out its tongue. I wish I could sell it, but... SURPRISE... my job requires me to use a Mac. Imagine that!
Of course, Windows having a built-in DVD player and CD burning software that WORKS would be nice. :/

OSX is better than anything else I've ever used, PERIOD. I can count the times I've had to hold the power button down on two fingers. I don't understand, with all the resources they have, why MS can't build a decent OS.
I've only been using a Mac for a little over a year now, but it's very clear to me which, overall, is the best.
Neither of them are perfect of course, but why is windows so much slower in everything than OSX? Actually, in some DVD ripping and things like it, windows is faster...
Now I don't care if your dual quad core 16gb ram with a $100 budget card can boot xp in 18 seconds, nor do I believe that you never have viruses, unless your never hooked to the internet;D
I don't understand why you hate it, unless of course you just hate the douches who go all crazy saying Apple is teh awezomes.
Heck I don't even know what a Apache/MySQL is, all I know is that OSX works faster, smoother, and is less prone to give me a headache... agreed?
