EA announces intial batch of Hasbro games, G.I. Joe sadly absent

In fact, the first titles from the deal confirmed for both the Wii and DS include games based on Littlest Pet Shop and NERF "N-Strike," both of which are being put together by EA's Salt Lake Studio. Last year EA inked a deal with Hasbro for rights to make games based on the seemingly innocent but often cutthroat board game Monopoly, and players will be able to edge their way out of (and into) virtual bankruptcy come March for mobile phones and later in the fall over EA's casual POGO portal for the PC. Other brands in the works as part of this new deal include Scrabble, Operation, and Trivial Pursuit, meaning that in the not to distant future we could be once again partying like it's Christmas 1980.

It's possible that romanticizing service in the US Military isn't real in right now. Probably a wise choice.

I can only hope this brings Scrabble to Xbox Live Arcade, and that said Scrabble will allow use of the chatpad for typing letters.
It's long overdue!

GI Joe is coming but will be based on the 2009 movie. No sense making a game now when theres no animated series and the comic's last issue goes to print in a few months. GI Joe will have a 2009 like Transformers did in 2007, they're going to time the game to come when it has the most visibility.

Someone needs to make a version of *The Outfit* that has a GI JOE 'skin'. Imagine all the vehicles being versions of toys that you played with as a kid.

I was actually thinking how cool it would be for somebody to do a G.I. Joe game sorta like Team Fortress 2,
