Luke Goss to star in Tekken film
English pop star turned Hollywood hottie Luke Goss has signed on to play a role in the upcoming Tekken film. According to his official web site, the English actor will portray Steve Fox, the British boxer first seen in Tekken 4.
Goss first made a name for himself in the boy band Bros (that's right, "Bros"), which he formed with his twin brother in the 1980s. Once the band broke up in the early 90s, Goss made the smooth transition over to actor, appearing in such films as Blade II and Hellboy 2. Filming for Tekken begins this month in Shreveport, Louisiana, under the direction of Dwight Little.

I wouldn't be suprised if they changed the main character of Jin or Kazuma(spell?) to someone like Paul Julia Chan or Roger. LOL

It just makes me wish that Bruce Lee were here for Law's role. But then again, he'd be over 60 years old.
Oh, and it'd suck for the dude playing Steve Fox, seeing that he'd never get to bang his mom Nina Williams.

Never seen DOA, not really a fan. As for other games turned movies I have to say Silent Hill and Resident Evil are among the best as just movies alone. I'm a hardcore RE player and I found the movies to be an A- at least. DOOM was a great action movie, House of the Dead made me and my husband laugh but what can you expect from a movie that gives you a bunch of guns and zombies. And yes, I'll admit, there was no hope for Street Fighter.
Point is people need to seperate the game from the movie for about an hour and a half and enjoy it for what it is. If the director and writers can come up with some good actors, a decent story and fluid martial arts then they'll have a great fighting movie. Personally I can't wait to see it.
