Today's hottest animation: Mauvais Role, a villain identity crisis

See if you can spot all the video game references in Mauvais Rôle, an animated French short film, hosted by Boing Boing. The premise is simple: a video game villain is tired of his job and seeks other "employment opportunities." The animation is very well done, as is the voicework.

I'll skip the obvious and say I spotted:
a Portal exit sign
A Megaman armor
That annoying thing from Crash Bandicoot
What looks like a reference to Overlord in the beginning.
And Boogie at the end.

Portal exit sign? You mean for the stairs? That's common signage, not just Portal.

I quite liked the Sims reference. Took me a while to remember what game those symbols were from.

So Afro Bomberman wall poster, Kirby plushie, SNES, Mario head bust, Green Hill Zone flower, all in the apartment.

Mario stage obviously.
No idea on the racing stage.
Pro Evolution poster for the Football stage I believe.
Sims icons
Horrible blood sport.... I mean Pokemon.
Sonic and rings, I love that SFX.
Bomberman bomb.
Crash Bandicoot tiki taki something waki.
Splinter Cell goggles. Which do nothing by the road.
Dead Rising Mega Man armour.
