Or maybe they'll just take the hacking mini-game and port that over; that seems appropriate given the small screen and limited controls.

LOL and yet it's still not slated for the PS3.

Don't get me wrong; I've got nothing against it showing up on PS3 so more people can enjoy it - but I recall how the PS3 fanbois were crying and petitioning to get it on their beloved console.

What a kick in the nuts that you'll be able to play on your phone, but not the PS3.

Some things just shouldn't be done and this is one of them. (Putting BioShock on the PS3 is another).

That last part of your statement is absolutely retarded.
But I agree with the first part. Though, it won't stop any companies from doing it. If you have a verizon phone, go ahead and go to your "Get It Now" games section, and look at all the "triple-A" games. Saints Row. REALLY?

The really newsworthy thing, IMHO, is that this is an IP that originated outside Japan. The Japanese are constantly doing this -- making barely-related phone ports of AAA titles -- but it's the first I've heard of it in the west.

Actually, I take that back -- there's mobile versions of Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia (both the 80s originals and the SoT series), so why not Bioshock? I assume they'll translate it into a 2D platformer like the aforementioned big titles, but that doesn't mean it has to suck...

Yeah but imo Bioshock was over-hyped and porting it to a mobile phones, destroys everything that was good about it.

I bet widescreen mobile phone users will complain that the game cuts off parts of the image to fit on their screens.
