EA responds to BioWare/KOTOR MMO rumor
Looks like we may have gotten a little ahead of ourselves yesterday when we reported that the Knights of the Old Republic series was heading back into BioWare's able hands. According to a note from EA PR, the slide in the analyst report referenced by Eurogamer (pictured above) only referred to KOTOR as part of BioWare's past portfolio, and did "not specifically address future sequels."
BioWare fans shouldn't despair though ... EA did confirm that the "New MMO" listed on the slide is, in fact, a new MMO under development at BioWare Austin. So ... yeah. With the reports of a BioWare/LucasArts collaboration and rumors of a KOTOR connection still floating around, the speculation train isn't likely to be derailed here.

yeah thats what i meant thanks...I always mess that stuff up...If it were originals that would be cool but if it were a full blown sequel that would be the shizz nittel van snap snap snappy
@Miguel
I really don't know much about it and I am not going to pretend I do. I know a lot about Computer Animation because I got a degree from Full Sail in that (now I sell real estate, go figure!). But, I suppose your right they wouldnt really need to do anything else to release it on XBL. I was just saying if anything it would probably be a XBL originals rather than another full blown KOTOR. Its just an assumption by me.

Aren't XBLA games just the code of the original game written to a iso-like disc image (virtual disc) on the hard drive? Why would they need to retool anything?

KOTOR3 best be KOTOR-proper.
