It doesn't look like they put it to it's full potential.
Some aspects of it look great but I think I will stay away from this title.

The graphics look good , but the gameplay looks way to complex and boring :(

I love strategy games and I love R-Type. I would have preferred a new shooting entry in the series, but I will give this a go if the price is right...which is $30 or less.

I'm not sure if I could actually tell what the gameplay was going to be like from the trailer. It looked confusing?!?
