Well I was playing Halo 3 today due the V-day tournament and I have to say that I now totally understand why people call it Gaylo.
Don’t get me wrong the single player is still great due the vehicles, battles etc and some multiplayer modes are pretty fun but the community is a disgrace, in fact the Halo community is the reason why the Halo fan stereotype is a sexually oppressed retard.
After today my whole perspective about multiplayer games changed, I thought back in the release of Halo 3 that the multiplayer mode was okay even when the sexually oppressed Halo 2 gamers where dicking around but after playing games like TF2 and COD4 Halo seemed shallow.TF2 depends on Teamwork and Strategy,COD4 depends on Skill and strategy but Halo depends on getting the bigger gun and that’s it.
Have anyone notice that most Halo 3 weapons are worthless? I know that Matel got the contract for the Covenant but hell Nerf got the contract for the UNCS weapons.
One would think that team battles would require certain level of teamwork but you couldn’t stop hearing people in the mic bitching about stuff like the rocket launcher, sniper rifle etc. There was a guy betraying everyone for stuff like shotguns etc so I decided to kill him (That was the only time I actually had fun) but the whole team immediately started to kill me because it seems is not as funny when I do it.
In the V-day match it 2 vs 2 my partner was either a n00b or a douchebag.
So after today I’m convinced that anything that Valve touches is converted into solid gold,TF2 was a breath of fresh air after playing Halo 3,there are 3 achievements I never got but screw it for 15p phff I could rent Avatar and get 1000p in 5 minutes and I bet I would have a lot more fun with avatar.
Well to end my rant against Halo let me tell you that building in Forge is like building in Half-life 2 using the gravity gun, seriously Halo 3 begs for a freaking K/M support.
Tip: when you get the sniper rifle never use the scope, just shoot you get more headshots that way. I’m serious.

That seemed like a completely random rant, but I completely agree with you.
I haven't touched Halo 3 in months simply for the fact that I can't stand the community. Hell, even my Halo "friends" complain about it and they are equal contributers to the problem. Just about everyone who plays that game falls into 2 categories: 1) They are good and have to constantly let you know how good they are by corpse raping and rubbing it in 2) They think they're good but actually suck, and will accuse you of cheating when you hand their asses to them. Seriously, why is voice chat even available for that game; there is never any coordination necessary - everyone just does their own thing anyway. I still need the online achievements too, but it's just not worth playing that game to get them.
My roommate asks to play it once in a while, but I just tell him I don't have the game any more because I threw it back into the pit of hell that spawned it.

God, I JUST unlocked that in DMC4. What an AWESOME weapon. Lucifer, bane of all that stand in my way when I dont care about style points and just want to look sexy!
