I was though my pc has started to fall down the requirements needed which is why I am slowly moving to console gaming except for Unreal and the vast abyss of free MMO's

For the love of God, please add at the very least mouse support. I'm an RTS veteran (ironically look at WIC for the PC today, I was part of the Beta test, but it didn't play too well (well, ok, but not in sexy DX10) on my PC) - but having played RTS games on the PC for decades, I need a goddam mouse!

If they do not put it, I will be pissed off. I mean the PS3 has the capability, its like having a PC RTS without a mouse and throwing some gamepad control.

I'm sick of the Russians, English, South Americans, Arabs being the "enemy". Why not a game where all the bad guys are American. Or better still, at start up, you get to pick which ethnicity is the bad guy.

It's sad that game developers have to resort to cliches in an attempt to sell games.

Yeah its sooooo sad. whaaah!

America is full of immigrants from all of those regions and then some, so what difference does ethnicity make?

Uhhh, look at history. The "bad guys" have been Germans, Russians, Middle Eastern folks from all countries, Africans, you name it. Battlefield 2 gets it right pitting the MEC forces against the Chinese and US military. Those are the big 3 "bad guys" these days. Personally I think games should pit Europe vs. China, India vs. Pakistan, whatever. It'd be awesome to pilot an Indian elephant into battle.

emaxximus : You are either american or a wanna be american and that is why you fail to understand the meaning of stereo type!

See what I did there? I just made you a stereo type. Stereo types are B O R I N G !!!!!! Game developers should aim to be more creative, because it is supposed to be a creative medium, not a repetitive "these are always the bad guys, these are always the good guys" shiiite.

I know what a stereotype is, (and that it isn't 2 words, genious), you just failed to answer the question of how ethnicity equals nationality as it relates to games. I guess if you aren't happy with the "bad guy" choice in a game mabey you just shouldn't buy it, but then you would just find something else to complain about. Video game makers like to make money, not cater to a small minority of malcontents like you.

emaxximus : If it is all about the money, then that is why most games are becoming more soulless. You would be the sort of person who would allow in game adverts, just because it makes the developers money. Sad really.

Games like Little Big Planet or Okami or Shadow of the Colossus and Katamari Demacy all offer something interesting and original. Don't get me wrong I love the MGS series as much as the next guy and will buy Resistance 2, but the games medium can be so much more.

We accept it when a film enlists rage or sadness within us. I'm not afraid to admit that I've cried during certain films, yet I have yet to play a game that has truly made me empathise with the characters so much that I have felt grief for their loss. Games are just an interactive form of film and as such should be able to elicit the same kind of emotions, but time and time again the developers in variably go for the testosterone and patriotic option. Which, I have to say, in an industry that has been around for 20+ years now is a bit pathetic.

Games *are* an art form and as such, developers should aim to make art that does more than make you want to kill someone. They should elicit the whole gamut of emotions.

emaxximus : Lastly, what I wanted to say was if you are happy with EA churning out NFL games year in and year out and seeing the same style of game time and time again, that is your prerogative. I equate that to liking Britiney Spears and watching CSI everyweek. I like interesting music, interesting, thought provoking films and documentaries and bleeding edge humour. If you like the same repetitious stuff every year, so be it. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

RTS on a console = fail, UNLESS you have keyboard/mouse support.

That's why they are "reinventing" it. They want to make it suitable for consoles, and they know it's not as simple as whipping up a new control scheme.

that's fine with me, bioshock was pretty boring halfway through with a lame ending boss. and if i'm incorrect it's sequel will grace 360 as well.

.. but hopefully we'll get those too as PSN downloads, god that would be sweet. And I can't see any major issues why not, EA own the rights to those early games (they've released numerous re-releases, I think even the CnC iso for free) and it would make sense to offer them to build hype in the months close to RA3 release. Fingers crossed for that.

You just made my Sons Day.
Our PC is too slow to Run World In Conflict,
so we were waiting to get it for our CrashBox (XBox360).

Now we can get it for our PS3 and not have to worry about not being able to play it when I get my Next Red Ring of Death.
