After the Patapon Demo, I am in love with this game. I went out and preordered it at Gamestop, something I haven't done since Tekken 3 on the Psone.

...damned gamestop and their utter reluctance to carrying any recently released psp games. "Ya gotta preorder dude, or else we wont get it!" Fuck you.

Patapon is Sony published...

He fucking lied to you. He has to get a certain number of preorders each month, some bastards lie to get that. So I suggest cancelling your preorder and buying it from Circuit City, Best Buy. or any other retailer...

Yeah, I preordered Patapon when it was first announced for US release and the gamestop guy was like "What exactly is Patapon?" I really had no idea what to call it, a rythym action strategy adventure?

I don't have a PSP, but if I had the money to buy one, I'd totally get Patapon. It piques my interest.

Don't forget that Black, Ninja Gaiden Black, & Sid Meier's Pirates! were released on Xbox Originals this week too. Funny that you guys skipped over that.

I'd love to get Patapon and a PSP to go with it, but alas, I've got enough games to fill all my free time for the next year as it is...

Having picked up the Patapon demo, I can indeed confirm: it RULES.

I'm off to MinamiCon in a couple of weeks' time - STILL buying that up front. It's a good long redeye trip down to Southampton...

Just for clarification, Lords of Thunder never came in cartridge form. It was for the Turbografx CD.

excuse me while I get back to my training routines

i was skeptical of Patapon since i love rhythm games but suck at strategy games but i can say that i have been hooked on this demo. i think i will certainly buy it, maybe not on release day but not too long after probably. plus you really cant go wrong for $20.

Professor Layton DLC should be there too. That puzzle is making my brain melt. Has anyone figured it out? The one with the matches and the 5 squares.

Patapon is better then I dared to hope.

If you have a PSP you need to buy this game.

If you do not have a PSP you need to buy one and get this game.

I hope Patapon makes up for the rubbishness that is Downstream Panic.

Is the Patapon demo not available in Canada or something? I've been trying to get it since day one, and it hasn't shown up on the Playstation Store for me. I'm checking under both "Demos" and "PSP Games" but it just isn't there. I'm also looking in the general Browse menu under P. I really want to try out this demo, any tips for a Canuck PSP owner?

Umm... never mind. I just discovered the PSP Demos section. In my defense, I've only had a PS3 for about a week and a half, so I'm still getting used to it.
