Its not that bad, I mean only an idiot would assume that this has any relation to what the game actually looks like. I think it's just illustrating the concept, and doing so fairly nicely.

I don't think anyone who's seen or played a DS game would confuse that to be "gameplay video." It looks just like any other slick piece of marketing seen in the last couple of years. If anything it's the tone and title of this article that seems to be Bullpost

Anyways, why just DS? Trackmania would make a great downloadable title for Live and PSN. I tired a PC demo years ago and it's akin to making hotwheels tracks like when you where a kid, except of course now you get to drive the car. I really need to look up the current PC version and grab a demo.

The idea of the imagination exceeding the DS being the only limit in track creation is cool, but I confirm that you'd have to be a complete idiot to believe that the game is going to look like that.

Dumb assumption on the bullshot.

This is just marketing, it doesn't in no way indicate any actual real gameplay in the video

You've tagged it as "tranckmania".

You're not doing it right!

Trackmania on the PC is awesome, and the online community greatly improves the experience....We know the DS can have really good graphics (Metroid Prime: Hunters). If they do it right, it could be one of the best DS games.

You loose on this one, Joystiq. Outright lying? As previously stated you'd have to be an idiot to believe that was anything more than good marketing. Frankly I'm dissapointed in you this day, but there's a wootoff going on so nothing can damper my spirits!

Christ! Kyle, calm down. There's nothing in that video to suggest that in any way those are graphics from the DS game. I'd say more they're trying to invoke the emotion and excitment of the game perhaps?

Dude, honestly? I liked Crazy People too. But it's a MOVIE, there's no way that kind of advertising would work in real life, they've got to sex it up a little.
