WRUP: pre-GDC jitters edition

This is it folks, the final edition of WRUP before GDC 08. We've spent the last several weeks making appointments, scheduling booth visits, and getting our nails done in preparation (we here John Schappert is a sucker for pretty nails). We'll be on hand to cover the latest and greatest happenings in San Francisco this year, so keep your eye on X3F and Joystiq for all the coverage you can stomach. In the meantime, we ask you that one sacred question: what will you be playing this weekend?

Im going to the EA Campus and getting to play "DeadSpace"!!! AWWW YEA!!

CoD4, since I haven't played any this week, more Rock Band, and Super Mario Galaxy.

Oh..and for what it's worth, i'm a Burnout Paradise convert. I Blockbustered it last week and after playing it online with friends, i'm a fan. I just need the scratch to buy it now!

COD 4, Naruto ROAN, maybe some GOW(gears), and more then likely Ninja Gaiden Black.

I'm going to put Rock Band on hold and continue with PGR4, Medal of Honor: Airborne and maybe get a few games of Halo 3 in on our awesome first pick in Community Content.

Probably just some Mass Effect and then some old-school RPG action a little Morrowind.

Oh and Richard, was it decided that the rest of the graphics for posts were unsuitable, or is their appearance just going to take some time?

I would like to play Rock Band, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed and Ace Combat 6 but I will probably only have time to play Rock Band with some friends since my wife's birthday is this weekend.

That's about it, I'm past the 50% mark an not really loving it any more. I'll give it an second try hopefully I'll change my mind....

I'll mostly be playin Halo 3 (ranked btb and valentines day hoppers), but i'll play Rez HD, Rock Band, and some Orange Box too! Just got my 360 back so i'll be on ALL weekend!

I'm hoping to return a game I already have in exchange for Lost Odyssey. Unfortunately the person who bought it for me lost the receipt AND paid in cash... I'm hoping Wal-Mart still has that 3 returns without a receipt per year policy.

do they allow returns on opened software?

Not that I know of... but this is still sealed. I tried Target, but without a receipt or a card/check to look it up with, they only allow a return worth $20.

I'm digginz my Lost Odyssey so far - on disk 2 already ;) And maybe a little Burnout Paradise to feed my high-speed crash appetite. But I'll mainly be playing get-my-homework-done-before-the-week-starts-again >.

I'm playing a bit of that game myself. I don't care for it all that much, myself.

I just got a PSP; so I will probably play a lot of GTA: Liberty City Stories and Daxter. Maybe some Turok and Halo 3 on the ol' 360. Hooray for President's day (or anything else that lets me skip my college classes and play games instead)!!
