YAY!

Not only will this means my second case of Biolith will be cheaper the longer I wait (yes, I bought an entire case of boosters), but this means they continue to support this game. Good times.

If you liked Triple Triad on FFVIII or FFIX, you'll love Eye of Judgment. But if not, you'd probably see this as a very cool gimmick then rapidly move on.

I think Sony Defense Force kidnapped Joystiq staff and replaced them with mindless PS3 zombies.

Don't you think Sony deserves a good day at least once a year? :)

I never once got this to work to play an online game and according to the Sony forums, other people had the same problem. I gave up on it after many many tries (and being rewarded ridiculous victory points for games that never even connected).

As one of the few people who kept playing the original eyetoy I am really astounded by the step up in technology on display in the screen shots. Other than the fact that the camera isn't blurred beyond recognition, I really like how the interaction reveals itself to be a little less on the clunky side than I would have expected(from the videos). In the next couple of years with the 3DV Systems depth-sensing ZCam and some upgraded computer hardware we can throw cards out at our computer and play Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon. This will probably spawn a series of interactive board games where your pieces on your 2d flat board have 3d interactions on the TV. I like the concepts and celebrate innovation towards better technological interaction... But why, oh why did it have to be on the PS3.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo didn't have any problems preventing people from copying e-Reader cards :D

I'm sure Nintendo didn't have that problem because nobody WANTED the E-reader cards...

Seriously, I worked retail at the time. Not a single unit was sold until the reader was clearanced to $11.

Besides... E-Reader was magnetic based.

Does anyone still play this game? After it came out the hype around it pretty much quieted down alot.

"Excuse me I have to go sue Sony now for their Eye of Judgment. As if that wasn't a Duel Monsters' ripoff.":
