Heh, this was one of the reasons I got a PSP and I didn't like it (been out in Pal land for quite some time). I mean it's okay but I think I was expecting a portable F-Zero GX like game. I didn't know Wipeout had weapons!

Wipeout is about true floating machines... F-Zero's control way too tightly. Like you have to plan a turn in Wipeout and F-Zero, you have to react.
Two drastically different race styles. I personally prefer the Wipeout route.

I've been playing the Pal release for about a month.
Excellent game. Pulse is the best one since XL (2097).

I am a hardcore Wipeout junky and I am in heaven right now. Now please please please give us Wipeout HD!
p.s. Wipeout vs. F-Zero? I'm definitly all about Wipeout.

Yea so it's a agreed that it's a shame Wipeout isn't as good as F-Zero. It's just way too slippery and nowhere near as fast as it should be. Even on that phantom mode it's much quicker on GX.
Damn Nintendo just give us an F-Zero DS game already. The market needs a good racer like that :(
