N+ coming to Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday

We've known it was coming for about a month now ... now we know exactly when it's coming. Metanet Software announced via their blog this morning that the Xbox Live Arcade version of 2D Ninja platformer N+ will be available for 800 MS points at 9 a.m. GMT (1 a.m. Pacific) on Wednesday, Feb. 20.

The Wednesday release will come with the obligatory Gamerpics and Dashboard themes which, unfortunately, will cost even more of your hard earned Microsoft points. Metanet also announced "one or two level packs coming in the future," although, really, if you manage to beat all 450 levels included in the main game, it's probably time to move on to another title. This game is SO good. Level editor, co-op. Wow. Played it at PAX and was blown away. Been looking for new levels since I beat all 500 levels on N

I dont see much value in purcahseing level packs considering there is a level editor. I cant wait to buy this game tomorrow. they said on their blog they wanted the gamerpics and themes to be free but Microsoft wont allow them because of policy and its kinda silly. Its a shame M$ likes to charge for silly gamer pics and themes. Whats even more of a shame is people spend money on them.

I cant wait to make some insane levels for n+.

Undertow has free gamer pics if you unlock them in the game... more arcade games need to have that feature!

Also, been looking forward to N+ and Ikaruga now that RezHD is out (and sooooooo goooood).
I played N when it first came out, eons ago. After I heard it was coming to Live Arcade, I decided to not play it for a while so it would be just that much more awesome.

Hell every game should unlock a gamerpic when you finish them. I would love a Lambada /Gordon Freeman gamerpic, I only need 5 more achievements of the orange box.

Aperture/Rocket/Basic science, With friends like the these.. and Lamabada Locator.

Aperture science is impossible with the xb360 controller.

Anyhow I can’t wait to check this game this Wednesday.

What's that? Gordan Freeman doing the Lambada? That would rock! What's that? Oh, you meant lambda? Well, that's not nearly as funny.

I keed, I keed. I think they should include a gamer pic in all games, maybe for getting all achievment points or beating the game on it's hardest difficulty. Like a badge of honour.

See I don't really get the point in paying for games like this and alien hominid or whatever when I played them online for free ages ago. They had a game like this on the PS3 as well (Spore or whatever). Just seems like kind of a ripoff to me, especially considering they where really just for passing time in class :P
