I'm buying Balloon Pop as a gift for my mom, actually.

I wanted to get it last week, but couldn't find it anywhere.
...apparently because it didn't come out.

Joystiq should do more reviews. I'm curious about Pimp My Ride. Can you paint?

Can't wait for Apollo Justice. I've been practising my finger pointing with my friend's mirror. I haven't got a mirror at the moment. That's how I roll.

I agree, more reviews would be awesome. I love when you talk about playing games in the podcast, especially lately when you've talked about games like Mass Effect, COD4, and Harvey Birdman. I think you guys are good at it.

And Nigeria, good luck with getting a mirror. You can always just get a small one and have a friend "Hold it!"
(See what I did there? Brilliant.)

The Club is the most important game out this week in the USA. It's the best third person action game on Xbox 360.

(European gamer who has been playing this game for over a week now)

I totally agree on the sleeper hit comment for the club. The demo was awesome. The whole combo/high score mechanic is going to make it addictive for anyone who likes to see their name crawl up the leaderboards. That said, I'm looking forward to picking it up for half price in 2-3 months after no one buys it at launch.

It seems the Wii and DS are the only systems with unique releases this week. Everything else is in multiplatform land.

...there's a whole bunch of pheonix wright games... i mean, the series has only been around for what, 2 years? maybe 3? and there's at least 3 original versions i can think of, and now this? not complaining, just seems like every other month there's a new one coming out.

The series has been around in Japan since the Game Boy Advance. The first one has been out since 2001.

Basically, we've been forced to catch up with Japan. They'll come out slower after 4.

Either way its a series that could probably pump out more content a bit quicker, being more heavily text-based, they could slam out good Phoenix Wright games at a relatively fast rate, since quality is largely dependent on the writers, who can work at a faster rate and maintain quality

I played The Club demo with my lil brother and I have to agree that it has AWESOME written all over it.

Very interesting game and surprising addictive/fun. Even with the announcing voice overs it still managed to keep me occupied for a while.

If you ever played Crackdown time trial, the club is pretty much that except for the vehicles and well all the crazy agent skills.

Is not bad but you really have to be a shooter aficionado to really love the club.

Reviews all paint the same picture you do. They're all saying the game is "decent", and describing the game as something you'd enjoy if you bought it...but you don't HAVE to buy it, and won't miss out if you don't.

To me, I'll wait for my Dragon Quest-crazy friend to pick it up (as it is inevitable) and then borrow it when he's done.

Hmmm.... Apollo Justice looks like a good purchase. Sadly, due to the fact that I live in Mexico I'll have to wait a couple or days for it to come out... or months. Hell, I want to buy Prof. Layton already and my Costco still hasn't brought it! :(

That, and I am waiting for Brawl and trying for the Orange Box for PC to arrive, but it's rare to see a good PC game come over here since most of the people in my city play on consoles and don't care about PC games at all, so the only way I can get PC games is by going in a weekend to San Diego.

Expecting both Professor Layton and Ace Attorney 4 to arrive here on import sometime in the next week (or two).

Layton has a two day headstart, but Justice had more spent on the P&P, so which will arrive first is anyone's guess.
