Dante, Nero, and Virgil all look alike because of Sparta.

Dante and Virgil are the twin sons of Sparta,

Nero is part of the "Order of the Sword," which is a group of warriors that worship Sparta.

They all look alike because when you make a game where you replay through bosses and levels about 3 times each making 3 characters too different would be a break from form.

Nero looks like Dante because he's a wannabe; he's just imitating his hero. It was done on purpose. Virgil was just a consequence of Capcom's lack of originality. White hair fetish?

They look the same because before DMC they were on Oceanic Flight 815 and crashed on the Island where time and magnets morphed them into indentical twins.

Both Dante and Vergil are blood related and sons of the Devil. Nero might have some other blood relation to the brothers or Sparda. I think that the white hair shows that he has a connection. His powers also, being basically the same as Dante's and Vergil's. He also has a bad ass sword just like them.

Dante and virgil are brothers from the same father so that explains that. dante is half demon and virgil is full demon. Nero is kinda like the dark side of virgil so that is why nero and virgil look similar. because nero and virgil look alike dante will look similar because he is virgils brother. besdides when the player is actually playing the different characters its easier for them to focus on the game and not the character (less distarcting). it is cheaper to use the same model and tweak it, but they're brothers so who cares? they're supposed to look similar, how else would you know they're brothers if you looked at them?

I want the 360 version. Dante, Nero, and Virgil all look identical because two of them were born in alternate realities and were tossed into a warp hole where they all ended up in the same reality.

dante needs it for his family name and he doesn't want that holliness
guy to get it. and nero has a demon armed. and dante and veril are
