Although I don't have high expectations, I appreciate games with some kind of artistic flair. Now that we have progressed to near photo realistic graphics I hope more games follow the path of some of the independent and "artistic" devs.

woah, this looks cool.. looks like i'm going to have to cave and get Gametap.. admittedly, BDLA wasn't great, but Scrapland and Alice were very fun

Scapland and Bad Day L.A. were both mediocre, though neither were designed by McGee. He was only the producer on the titles, hence "American McGee Presents" rather than "American McGee's".

My thoughts exactly. Shame no one seems to remember Scrapland when they think of American McGee games.

Shame no one remembers Alice, you mean. Alice was a much better game than Scrapland.

prufrock: that says a lot actually.. though i'll admit i liked Scrapland, mediocre-terrible missions slightly (but not fully) outweighed by the silly fun of the exploration and character swapping.. who can argue with a mayor character who can put enemies to sleep?

still, explains a lot with the bad missions and the entirety of BDLA ^^ thanks for the info

Heh, it's like anti-Okami. Neat. I wonder what the mechanics are like.

Games with titles like "Some Moron's Game" annoy me. Even if the game is good, that's just shameless.

Looks trippy, but more importantly, pretty tits...based off the screens.

This reminds me of Rez, that X-box original game that had you killing all those creatures similar to the tubtubies.

You are thinking of Razes Hell yes?

Rez would be the on-rails shooter featuring the Trance Vibrator.

Heheheh, I would think you mean Raz's Hell, too. Finding similarities between this and Rez is quite amusing. It's like pointing out similarities between a puddle of water and a brick.

That initial screenshot had me thinking someone had made American McGee's Katamari.

Another game I won't be playing to avoid that shitty gametap service. It's not worth installing/subscribing to that garbage. No game is.

Bring it to Steam or something. (Wouldn't that be awesome if Valve bought out Gametap, switched all the games to Steam and nuked this shit?)

McGee's Alice style was awesome!

I'm really not digging the visuals on this one. Not because it's cartoonish, but because it's not aesthetic.

Am I the only one that expected a little more of Pain, blood, torture, gore, blood, violence, blood, disturbing images and blood (did I metioned blood?) ?

It looks good but it doesn't looks anything like Alice.

The only bad thing for me is that this is on Gametap.I wish it was on xbox live or in retail as well.

Seeing Ken Wong deliver a talk about this game and its visual design process at Animex brouight this game to my attention, The morphing meshes from good to evil are pretty sweet. This trailer kind of adds to the anticitpation, so pretty!

Wether the game itself is any good is another thing- but apparently the first chapter is going to be free. Shame my crappy PC probably wont be able to run it :(.
