GDC08: Castle Crashers crash lands this Summer

this game was never delayd, its just that they showed the game WAYYY early in its life cycle and they keep getting people begging to know the release like it was almost done.

No, i said no XBLA title should take 3 years to make, especailly when it had playable demos available at E3, 3 YEARS AGO.

The developers are lazy and apparently love press, because they can't stop showing the game for 3 years now.

There is a point where anticipation becomes loathing. Nobody but retards will care about this game at a certain point... and clearly we've reached it.

The title was announced in July of '06. The game will be released in June of 2008. The announcement consisted of conceptual art and nothing more. You're hyperbolizing the production time.

With that said, this amount of hype for an XBLA title does seem extreme and has been rather off-putting. Regardless when it is released I will play the demo and base my decision off of that. To automatically dismiss a title because it has been over-exposed seems ridiculous.
