I am super excited about the co-op. This is an evolutionary step in co-op and looks super super fun. I for one am glad they are doing this. You go Peter get your thieving husband killed!!

Cooperative like this is my favorite kind. Gears of War did it flawlessly and Crackdown almost hit the mark, both of which are games I own for that exact reason. Making singleplayer games more of a social experience is something I love. Bring it on!

This was expected. Peter Molyneux had said he wanted to do this in the first Fable, but was unable to with the current Xbox specs. Dropping in and out is very nice, but no details on it? There was talk about how this would work, but nothing was really said officially.

I love fable, but what I really want is another Elder Scrolls game. Bethesda stated they want multiple Elder Scrolls titles per generation. They also said they are not doing any extra content for Oblivion, so that must mean they are working on the new game now. I want that announcement with juicy screens!

If this is full co-op, as in you can do everything in game together and it works well, they have me sold.

It's really nice to see single player co-op becoming more popular. This is perfect for those of us who just want to play online with a brother or friend and have fun without having to jump onto a Halo or CoD4 server and get the crap kicked out of us by 12 year olds. I really don't have the time to devote to online gaming, but if I could just jump in a co-op with my bro a couple hours a week, that would be fun.

I am so looking forward to this game.

Of course, there are many "must buys" this year.

So much for the competition stating MS blew their load in 2007 and had nothing for 2008, Gears 2 just sealed the deal.

I know it's gimmicky, but that XBLA thing sounds cool. It's a good way to build hype for this game too. (like it needs any)

Nice! I'm all about the co-op. Gears, Crackdown & Halo3 are fine examples and hopefully this'll be another good one to add to the list.

And I think the XBLA tie-in game is a brilliant idea. Not only for the publicity but the fact you can earn money then use it in the retail game. Very innovative and nice to see people thinking 'outside the box' as it were.

Can we get some f'ing same-console co-op? The people I want to play with live in the same house as me and we're all not going to buy our own 360's just to play.

Can you just for once release an online AND a local co-op?

Crackdown was a major disappointment since it was online only
