GDC08: Microsoft's Keynote in pictures

It's one thing to read the news that positively poured forth from Microsoft's GDC08 keynote this year, but it's nothing without a few pictures to help flesh out the experience. It is with this in mind that Joystiq presents Microsoft's keynote in purely pictorial format, handily divvied into cohesive chunks for easier digestion (always chew your images, kids). Ninja Gaiden 2 and Fable (also 2) look awesome.
Gears 2 well the teaser was weak.

There is going to be a halo 4 you know, of course there is. They wouldn't drop the xbox's bestselling game that easily.

gears 2 trailer was WEAAAAAAAAAAAK, when the fuck are they gonna realize this isnt 1997 and nothing in videogame movies matters except gameplay footage. wtf is this a tv commerical for ff7!?!?!

Remember the Killzone 2 trailer that was all CGI and instantly amassed a hurricane of hype and anticipation for the sequel to an average game? This is commonplace and will continue to be so.

I agree that the Gears2 trailer was extremely weak. It seemed almost like a mockery of the original. This trailer makes Epic seem so out of touch with their own creation.

People need to start to realize wtf a teaser is.
Anyone here remember the Star Wars Ep3 teaser? It was just a black screen with the sound of Darth Vader's breathing and then the words Episode III: Revenge of the Sith faded into the screen. AND THAT WAS IT. And no one bitched and moaned about it.
It's called a teaser for a reason.
