This is how it should have been from the beginning.

Agreed ^ I got my PSP back in October of 07 and I was actually quite surprised/disappointed that it didn't have an in-device store like the PS3. Hopefully they do this very soon.

I hope this does not work only for PSP 2.0 owners.

I think they want to make money from as many people as possible so logic dictates it'll work on every PSP out there.

So far the store is for Windows only, apparently they don't want Mac OS X user's money!

I hope that after this happens, they up the PS1 classics on PSP rate.

The PlayStation Store is web-based so RAM won't be a limiting factor like it was with Skype on the PSP-1000 units.
I really hope that they get background downloading on the PSP that works with ANY download, similar to that of the PS3 (with the exception of themes). Lol, it's great being able to download media directly from your PS3's web browser and having it continue downloading when you turn it back on.

Great, fine. WiFi to my PSP. But what about a list of release dates for other PS1 games on the way?

Sony got a gift in Blu-Ray's victory. Now Sony must execute the Wifi Store in a timely manner.

Yeah, I can see it now. Those guys who beat up PSP owners will no longer need to GTA around town for the next victim, just wait at hotspots and they shall come :D
And about the PS1 games, how come Japan has Resident Evil 1 and 2, as well as the best King of Fighters (98) and the US store has nothing worth getting?

Great news ... this will indeed be good , but first I want to see more content and a real East-European support ...

Have you ever use the PSP web browser?
It's shit. A novelty at best.
I'd much rather have a OSX version.
How about be able to store the PSN content on my Mac and transfer to PSP any time I want instead of re-downloading them.
Also need cheaper and bigger memory stick.

Joey:
Use boot camp to access the PlayStation store. I use macs and PCs; exclusive intel mac users no longer have an excuse for demanding platform-specific content, since the slightest bit of effort will net them the best of both worlds.
And don't give up on the PSP browser just yet (unless you're too picky to consider PDA browsers useful). There's been talk since 2007 of retractable keyboard for the PSP, which would make the browser (and other apps) even more useful.

Frastoglegnia ,
I know, I use parallels.
It's still a pain.
This is one of two reasons I have windows on my mac.
"since the slightest bit of effort will net them the best of both worlds"
SONY wants my money. Sony makes it easier for me.
Plus, I don't think it'll be that difficult for them to create an installer for MAC. Since the content will be the same.
Also, Sony hasn't provided a decent browser for PSP in 3 years. Obliviously they aren't that committed. I won't hold my breath if I were you.
Do you really want a keyboard attachment to carry around?
Think about it!
All I need is better text entry with the buttons PSP already has now. There are plenty. I absolutely hate the "cellphone number entry" PSP has now. It's horrible for entering alphabets.

"Credit Card information is not correct. Please go back and make pointless idiotic little changes because even though we are SONY our on-line store technology (again) reflects how far we've fallen off the path in recent years in keeping our customers happy".
