PS3 Echochrome coming stateside Spring 2008, PSP version 'up in the air' [update]
North American gamers who wish to live out their long held fantasies of frolicking through Escher's world of Relativity will get their chance this summer, when Echochrome, Sony's perspective swapping puzzle platformer, will be made available for download on the PlayStation Network. In the usual fashion for Sony developed games, Japanese gamers will be able to pick up the game long before the rest of us -- some time in March.
No news has been heard about a stateside release date for the pricier PSP version of the game, though Siliconera is claiming that a Sony rep told them the handheld edition is "up in the air". This isn't a death knell for the portable port -- we don't know why they'd cancel the U.S. version, considering that Japan's March release date is for the PSP as well. We'll let you know when we know a more definite release date for the two versions, until then, we suggest enrolling into some sort of MENSA organization in order to garner the massive, genius brain you'll need to navigate these impossible constructions.
Update: The PS3 version is on track for a Spring release.

This game looks awesome. Its nice to see a change of pace for these downloadable games. In fact I don't see why they can't make it downloadable from PSN and playable on the PSP like some games are.

Does look very, very enjoyable.

Looks interesting. Too bad the PSN credit card service is bugged meaning I can't buy anything using it. At least I have the 360 version of games to tide me over on that kinda stuff.

If it was bugged more people would have issues. I know when trying to use my Mastercard it wouldn't work, but my Visa did. After I experienced the same issue trying to make another purchase of US origin I called my CC company and found out my card only worked in Canada. Not saying that's your problem, but I don't know as you didn't specify your problem.
One thing Sony needs to do is provide a very visible trouble shooting guide, perhaps an option that takes the user to a website with information on why their transaction isn't going through.

It requires your address and other information to be exact. Most places require like 5 things, card type, card #, expiration date, security code, owner. All being caps ignored. XBL works for my credit card. PSN refuses to.

I wish they had a PC version
