My guess is that it's a permanent price change. I work at a FutureShop and whenever it says "price drop", thats a permanent thing. If it was only for the week it would be considered a "sale"

Pretty good price though considering that makes it cheaper than the 40 gb PS3 now. They were the same price before.

DjDATZ thasts cause futureshops flyer arnt released until friday.

I honneslty think its a price changes all accross canada and the usa, i just dont think any of the flyers have been seen in the usa yet....the dollars been close to par for years now like 90+, it was only when it hit par that everyone was going crazy, i really dont see microsoft making it the same price accross the bored. if thats the case, then vista and office will be going down in price as well as ALL of microsoft products, i just see this is a price drop to be made more public and hit more regions this afternoon at microsofts meeting...

Microsoft Canada has updated their web site to show the $50.00 price drop on all consoles except for the Halo 3 Edition which now costs as much as an Elite.
