I think you meant " 'wit' ." Because there really wasn't much in any of those responses.

Ceej989-

How about you develope a sense of humor???

Dustin,

Fantastic post; and I certainly do appreciate the humor, ignore the whiners who don't.

Also I can't help it, but when reading your reply, that included the words "how rude"...it came out with the voice of Ja Ja Banks. I'm still laughing.

This question has actually been bugging me for quite some time now.
If I leave the room with my 360 on, do you think it stays on or does it turn itself off and then turn back on when it hears me coming back
I've always had my suspicions that the 360 does that as some sort of self-preservation feature to prevent overheating. Do you think my 360 is aware of itself?

Good times Dustin, good times.

Richard is a nerd anyway. He thinks he's a big shot because he uses "facts" and because he is "informed" and "helpful". Freakin' nerd. ;)

i love the site, but sometimes i wonder seeing artcles like this, i wonder how developpers and other industry folks, look at this website. Like with the last podcast it sounded as if an adult was being interviewed by a bunch of kids running a club house rather then an informative blog site. Anyhow what do i know?

Aww come on, lighten up. I find a little humor refreshing. Most of the questions was dumb anyway

Yeah a little humor is good. But if there's more of it than actual information, and I have to filter through the jokes to get to the substance, that's not good. I come here for news and opinions, not a comedy routine.

Well, there is this one: http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/efx2/home.aspx
turtle beach, but I don't like it. The headphones are wireless, but when you use it with your xbox you still have to plug it in. The new one they have is supposed to be completely wireless, but it's like $160 .

This works best for me: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessheadset/default.htm

$60 and you can charge it from your xbox, I've never had a problem with it... plus it's comfortable and completely wireless.

Instead of the white wireless headset, get the Halo 3 one. It has updated hardware and firmware that disconnects much less than the original.

CB,
I have the Turtle, wired, and wireless. Personally, the Turtles very nice, but I prefer the MS wireless overall.

CB I have the wireless mic, it works pretty well except sometimes other people complain about hearing too much noise. I'd be very interested in trying the Turtle beach headphones that come with a mic:

I own the x2 wireless headset and it's a pretty good product. My only complaint is that, when you are playing a game and trying to hear what other people are saying, they are hard to hear at times (because the game sound and mic sounds are coming throught the same headphones). I think the x3 model fixed this by having separate volume controls for the game and the voice.

I've heard a lot of great things about the turtle beach ones, but I don't really want them to be actual headphones as well. Something that's over one ear would be perfect for me so I'll look into the one they have.

Bravo Zebra and Ten for having a sense of humor!

Dusty, unless you do another Ask X3F like this, this'll probably be the last Ask X3F I read...lol I don't need to read answers to n00b questions.

I don't think you can reason with some people. If they didn't get the point of the article by reading it, they aren't going to get it when you explain it to them.

For the last question, someone over at the Bioware forums who worked on the game said to keep a hold onto an endgame (Or late in the game) save.
But I'm not sure whether he was referring to the DLC or the sequel.

It'll probably end up being just how you re-use your character's save for when you want to use an existing character for a new adventure...

Sufi Master Dustin is saying,"Let the X3f community help the x3f community..."

I have the Tritton AX360 as well and its an absolute dream when its configured right. My hand to god the surround sound nets me at least 3-5 more kills and 3-5 less deaths a match. The best part is it's completely customizable audio, meaning you can control the volume levels for all 5 speakers (front, rear, center), the time delay, and the overall volume. Couple this with its neat headset feature, its the best headset I've ever used. There is ONE small problem that can be remedied with an eBay purchase, and that is the lack of in-line or controller attached mute/volume button. This solves that problem: http://cgi.ebay.com/Datel-Xbox-360-Headset-Adapter_W0QQitemZ320220085060QQihZ011QQcategoryZ122517QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQ_trksidZp1638.m118.l1247QQcmdZViewItem

As far as that Motarolla headset, don't use it b/c its crap. I think the standard MS wired headset works just fine, especially with the mute/volume switch SOOO easily accessed.

Also, this post was hillarious. Those who think that a site entitled Xbox 360 FanBOY can't be funny when they want to be should just go read Kotaku.

Totally unhelpful. I do have a sense of humor (though most of the answers weren't humorous) but on a few of the questions you didn't even address the question at hand, just did your best to snark. It was.. annoying, at best.
