GDC08: Focus on Fable 2's female

We hope she's not leaping fences with a bun in the oven! In conjunction with today's announcements (a Fable minigame sold separately ... c'mon, really?), Microsoft has posted new shots of Fable 2, sporting considerably more sheen -- and feminine fl-air -- than the last time we spent face time with Molyneux's baby. We're scheduled to catch up with Peter and see more of Fable 2 tomorrow.

I think those screenshots fall under "good enough". As long as they make sure the game is good. Maybe more than 10 hours long. Maybe have areas that are more than 20 feet wide. Maybe.

Her face kinda reminds me of one of the female orc faces you can pick in WoW.

I agree, she is hideous. Hopefully she'll be like the black girl from the first fable, and you'll get the opportunity to get rid of her at some point. What was her name again? Anyway, this game better make up for Fable 1's crap-fest.

That's the main character, dude. That's you. You can play as a man or a woman. I'm guessing you can customize your appearance somewhat, so you don't look like that, though.

I will put my money down now if that co-op is online. Though I think my girlfriend might actually enjoy this RPG so I hope it will feature some splitscreen action as well.

Guys, the mini game is not a requirement to buy. It's going to be shipped with the game but they are allowing you to buy the minigame via the arcade early to rake up dough for your character.

This was brought up and answered on the Lionhead boards yesterday.
