GDC08: Into the Into the Pixel afterparty

What do you do after you've seen a collection of game-related art, like, say, the 2008 Into the Pixel exhibit? If your answer is "Go see a funk band reputedly featuring the bassist from Whitesnake," you're probably one of these people, because that's what happened at the afterparty. About 50 people and a fraction of Whitesnake were packed into the tiny but lovely Otis Lounge to celebrate game art having been shown.
It sounds funny, but the funk was completely rocking. If that's the appropriate term. What do you call good funk music?

As much as I laugh about the earlier joke(mostly because I see it around town here in "da dirty souf™"); Crono's right. She seems a bit more proper than your average trailer-wife. And the pale skintone denotes her possible talents in videogaming, LOL. ;]

I believe the appropriate term is "funktastic," although locally in Kingston, NY, "Funk-nasty" and "Funk-tasty" are both completely acceptable.

Also: In the late '90s, in Rhinebeck, NY, "Funkenwagnals" had quite a run. I would like to see that make a comeback.

The correct terminology is 'bumping,' as preached by Bootsy Collins and various other Parliament factions. They didn't call it the Psychoticbumpschool for nothing.
