I fucking love Joystiq, all the news we could possibly need from GDC, even this things we don't care about or are generally interested in as gamers just in case! Great!
Keep up the good work Joystiq and you will continue to be my blog, news outlet, and gaming site of choice for some time to come. Glad I stumbled across this place that fateful summer of 2004, been a daily if not ever so hourly visitor and vocal member since. Sounds a bit sad when I read the above but yeah, this place certainly brought me back into gaming in a way that hasn't really happened since my Mudding and board game days before and post SNES era.
* = Just so we are clear I'm being completely sincere, and not an ass as I often am.

Haha, the interview is so official... "blah blah blah for/from Joystiq." Funny watching a site like this grow up.
What is truely hilarious is how games tout Kotaku.com reviews as professional criticism for their boxes and commercials. No honestly it's funny, in a sad confusing sort of way.

This is really interesting. Hope Mova manages to sign up some game development studios to use their technology. If they could get rid of the phosphorous make-up and make do with two cameras, their approach to facial feature detection could be used to for more interactive applications. Imagine your next-gen MMO/game character having your features :)
If you are interested in similar tech and maybe even Augmented Reality, I have listed a couple of links to more material in a blog post at http://codesurgeonblog.com/2008/02/feature-detection-with-phosphorous-make.html

Interesting. I ran into this guy back at Catapult/X-Band back when they invented online gaming for consoles on the SNES/Genesis. Gaming isn't his only thing, but he does have a gaming pedigree.
Lets hope they don't Shaq Fu this one (inside joke).
