GDC08: Sony donates $5,000 to charity in Buzz! showdown

Total PlayStation's Sam Bishop took first place with his serious movie trivia skills and will forward Sony's money over to the SPCA: the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Fun was had by all, even if some of us (sob) lost pretty early on ...

Well good on Sony. I'm proud of them for donating to the SPCA. Not nearly enough major corporations donate to animal rescue organizations.

UGH. So instead of giving money to the millions of people around the world who need it...Whether the homeless in the US...or poverty stricken people worldwide...he gives it to animals....

Dude, homeless people do not deserve more money from anybody. I give more respect to illegal Maxicans who works at McDonalds than homeless, even though they have their share of BS and eatting tax payers' money too. If you don't work, you don't deserver any help. period.
