GDC08: Call of Duty DLC will be 'different'
What he will say is that those who've been clamoring for new content may already have a good idea of what's on the way. "It's a lot of community feedback, they want bigger maps, more buildings, more close quarters fighting. It's going to be really evident that it's stuff that they asked for," Bowling said. "People in the community should have a good idea of what to expect."
The maps are now in the playtesting phase, so hopefully even us non-forum goers will know what Infinity Ward has cooking soon.

IW needs to spend less time telling the media that updates are coming and more time working on and actually RELEASING these long-fabled updates/DLC.
I've been hearing the same "patch is imminent, DLC is imminent" story time and time again since December, and every time, the patch is "Just around the corner"

The patch has been held up by Microsoft's certification process which is outside of IW's realm of control. 402 has been good about keeping the community updated on patch/DLC info. Besides, you aren't entitled to anything so you should go ahead and start trying to get over it.

From what I heard on his blog there were four types of maps that continued to pop up they were Night maps, Wide open maps, Forest maps, and Snow maps.

The PC version has been patched four or five times already, can be modded to do fun stuff like participate in the Battle for Europe, and they have the map building tools at their disposal to create countless maps. Screw PC users, where's my good stuff?
