APB demonstration shows 'Cops and Robbers' gameplay
Sure, these past few days have seen a number of megaton announcements come from the Game Developers Conference, but nothing tickled our collective fancy quite like Realtime Worlds' Crackdown-turned-MMO, All Points Bulletin. The above trailer more than justifies our infatuation -- with Ronin-esque car chases instead of corpse runs, and assault rifles in lieu of broadswords, there may be no country for old MMOs once APB hits the unsuspecting online gaming market.

People have been clamouring for an online GTA since well, GTA3. This seems like it is the closest we can get to that happening. I really enjoyed the mechanics in Crackdown and if this game is half as fun as Crackdown was AND is a solid MMO then it will be a day 1 buy for me.

this particular was pretty boring but the game itself seems like a fantastic idea with mounds of potential. its like a GTA MMO. with the success of GTA and all the clones out there, im so surprised its taken this long for someone to do something like this. im hoping that they just forgot to put Playstation 3 in the tag line though cause this game looks great.

I would've bought FFXI too except it requires another $10-15/month to play.
